I like to listen different kinds of music , every day i start looking on the web to new releases of artist of reggaeton, also some artist that are from US, but specially i like the music of my region, the vallenato is one of them i like pretty much this music genre specially when i am with my friends in a house drinking some beers, talking, joking.

LEND MONEY - MARTHA

I would lend money to martha because she has an excellent motivation, this is her family. she has a great vision of what she wants to have in future this is a great characteristic of her that make me consider the posibility to lend her the money that she needs. also she describe the customers that she had and how works his sell that is an guarantee that she will pay me back.

AFROCOLOMBIANS

This is one real situtation that actually happens in our country, Colombia. We live in a society that almost all of the people have discriminating thoughts, thinking that the black people was made to do the hard work, i mean to do jobs like an slave. also in Colombia almost people think that every person is better than a black guy, we consider ourselves smarter than them, and we dont take a time to think that they are the same than us, and they have the same abilities to develop actions like us, the fact that they have dark skin, that doesnt mean that they are less people.

My favorite moment in carnival was the "pradito" is a place paralel to the Prado Hotel in the outside, where all people gathers to dance and hear the concert that is inside of the hotel, the singers were "la nomina del pin", "el gran combo de puerto rico", "Eddy herrera" , they did it excellent and also, made all people to dance a lot, i was with my friends and really we had a good time untill 4 am.

1. What do we learn about tuareg culture from this video?

We can learn that they are very traditional in the way they dress, also the place where the video was filmed is originally from their culture, and the lyrics of the song they transmitted a lot of emotions like suffering, pain and they felt that there is no freedom.

2. Keeping in mind what you learned from this interview, how does seeing the visuals within the video and knowing the meaningof the lyrics give us a deeper understanding of tuareg culture?

I think that is better hear and know at the same time the lyrics of something, it help us to have a better understanding because many times we dont know the meaning of a word and when we see it in the lyrics we could understand better and also we will increase our knowledge about this culture.

1. Why was Barranquilla chosen? 

R/ Barranquilla was chosen as capital of American culture, because of the great work that made the mayor of Barranquilla to bring the president of the International Bureau of Cultural Capitals who gaves to barranquilla this recognition.

2. Will Barranquilla receive any of the economic benefits Liverpool hoped to from being named a cultural capital?

R/ there is only one intention with this recognition of cultural capital is that Barranquilla has projection to the world, to be known by other countries.

1. What different points of view do we see in this story? 

In the story we can see two differents points of view, in one side we have the white guy, the man who believe that is superior from others, that he has the power, that is smarter from the others and he believes that having money he can humiliate the people who really needed.

In the other hand we have the black guy, a hard worker person who want to earn more money so he can feed him a his daugther and have a better life, he thinks that he is inferior only because he is black, in other words he consider himself an slave only because his color of skin, and he wanted to show to his boss  that he does a good job so he will get the money.

2. Explain the reasons behind the miscommunication that occurred between these two men.

There was a lack of communication from both the white man and his worker, because if the white man had understood what his worker was trying to say,  that he wanted to earn a little extra money so he could eat better, the white guy had not mistreated his worker yelling him, and would not have thought that the black man always liked to bother him.
